I was gifted my first ever camera since I was 12, and since then, I've been taking photos of just about everything under the sun. I soon discovered that I enjoyed taking portraits of people, and after that, capturing their motions and emotions in big and small moments.
A few years later, I've been privileged to shoot family and friends' portraits, engagement sessions, birthdays, showers, and other special events!
I am drawn to the beauty of everything. Time, places, light, people, their emotions, their stories - which I would like to think is reflected in my work.

What is lifestyle photography?
Lifestyle photography means I get to shoot you as you are (with or without a little prompting). It isn't a lot of structure (or pose-y poses), which means you get to be free to be yourselves, and I get to capture you as you are!
Why "people and places, moments & faces"?
Looking back through all the photos I've taken, I realized that this is pretty much the spirit with which I take all my photos. I love capturing people, whatever action they're doing, whatever face they're making, wherever they may be. I love the idea of trying to capture someone's personality in a single photo, or trying to capture whatever someone is feeling at that very moment.
What's your style?
Rather than a specific "style" such as colour palettes or signature poses, my approach to photography is more emphasized on capturing you - as you are, in that moment (with a little help from me!) While I may direct and prompt you to make the photos turn out just right, I value the authenticity of real-time emotions and real-time actions. So if for example you're worried about your child not being able to sit still for a portrait or if you're worried that they're going to make a fuss, that's perfectly alright! That's their personality and that's what's going to add personality to the photo as well.
What is your favourite thing to photograph?
How does this work?
Great! First, I encourage you to take a look at my portfolio to see if my style of photography is what you're looking for. If you've absolutely decided that you want to go ahead and book a session with me, please fill out my contact form and I will get back to you within 2 business days regarding rates and dates!
Where are you located?
I currently live in Oshawa in the Durham Region, but I am open to travelling around the GTA if you had a specific location in mind! Please note that I charge travel fees for locations further west and north than Pickering.
How long is my session going to be?
It depends on the session and what you would like to do during the session. Portrait sessions and family sessions typically take around 45 minutes to an hour. For family sessions especially, it can be harder to keep your little ones' attention spans for longer than that.
Engagement sessions usually take around 2 hours, especially if you're doing outfit changes or are planning on doing multiple locations.
As for special events, I do offer half day session (~4 hours) and full day session (~8 hours) packages! Please reach out to me for further info.
What if I'm too awkward to be in front of the camera?
